Warner Bros. Pictures announced today that Anne Hathaway has been cast as Selina Kyle in Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight Rises.” She will be starring alongside Christian Bale, who returns in the title role of Bruce Wayne/Batman. Christopher Nolan stated, “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Anne Hathaway, who will be a fantastic addition to our ensemble as we complete our story.”
In addition, Tom Hardy has been set to play Bane. Nolan said, “I am delighted to be working with Tom again and excited to watch him bring to life our new interpretation of one of Batman’s most formidable enemies.” Nolan will direct the film from a screenplay he wrote with Jonathan Nolan, from a story by Christopher Nolan and David S. Goyer. Nolan will also produce the film with his longtime producing partner, Emma Thomas, and Charles Roven. “The Dark Knight Rises” is slated for release on July 20, 2012. The film will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.

Catwoman und Bane also soweit. Hathaway und Hardy gefallen mir beide und ich kann sie mir in ihren jeweiligen Rollen bereits gut vorstellen. Nur noch 1 1/2 Jahre, yay!

Kann mir Hathaway ueberhaupt nicht in der Rolle vorstellen. Trau ihr aber viel zu. Duerfte im uebrigen der endgueltige Ritterschlag zum Superstardom sein.

und ich prophezeie mindestens 30 seiten topic, während denen noch niemand den film gesehen hat. erwartungen werden industrie-fachgerecht nach oben geschraubt, um sie dann später am kinogang relativieren zu können. nach den ersten tausend votes wird der film dann in der imdb-top-250 landen (#12), und spätestens dann dürfte es einem troll genug anreiz sein, um auf demselben board den thread 'worst film ever' zu starten.

wäre cool, wenn der film ab 18 wäre. mit viel blut, sex und einem black-metal-soundtrack.
Man muss nach den bisher von ihm gedrehten Filmen Christopher Nolan zwar einfach das besondere Etwas zutrauen, ob er aber mit dem dritten Batman den künstlerischen und kommerziellen Erfolg wiederholen kann, bleibt abzuwarten.
Die von mir sehr geschätzte Anne Hathaway kann ich mir zwar sehr gut als Catwoman vorstellen, Tom Hardy als Bane ist für mich erher eine Wildcard, wobei ich auch zugeben muss, mit der Figur des Bane bisher nicht viel anfangen zu können. Jedenfalls wird der durchschlagende Erfolg des zweiten Films nur schwer zu erreichen. Es war allerdings auch damals nicht vorherzusehen, das der anfangs doch eher belächelte Heath Ledger solch eine Performance abgeben würde. Und dass dann auch noch sein tragischer Tod für zusätzliche Publicity solgen sollte.
