Sehr geil gemacht ist das mit den Namen

Ohman ich hab schon beim Trailer gelacht ohne Ende. Ich denke der Film wird um einiges bissiger sein als Moores Fahrenheit 9/11, dazu noch super lustig und sicherlich auch eine tiefgründige Message haben. Ich freu mich auf jeden Fall schon darauf.

Sieht bisher schon nicht schlecht aus.
Das mit den Namen war wirklich Klasse.
Mich wundert es nur das ich bsiher nie was davon gehört habe.
Naja, so war die Überraschung größer.

Über den Film wurde auch erst letzte Woche ein wenig auf AICN im Zusammenhang der SanDiego Comic-Con berichtet. Ich finde es auch höchst interessant was für Leute die beiden auf der technischen Seite bekommen haben!

Vor ein paar Tagen ist ein neuer Trailer zu "Team America" erschienen. Ich kann ihn mir leider nicht ansehen, weil sowohl mein Quicktime Player als auch der Internet Explorer nicht mitspielen. Aber vielleicht einer von euch.

Hab ihn gesehen. Fand den ersten besser, auch wenn der hier etwas mehr von der Story verrät. Es scheint um einen Schauspieler zu gehen, der in eine Terroristengruppe eingeschleust werden soll.

You gotta love Sean Penn! The man is easily, one of the best actors of his generation, is about as cool a cucumber as you can get, smokes cigarettes like they're still hip to be smoked and doesn't mind telling it like it is every now and then-- even if that means flying to Iraq on his own dime and checking out the situation for himself (well, okay...that was sort of goofy, but the point is that the man's heart was in the right place). Today, thanks to The Drudge Report, we get to read a memo (see below) that he sent to SOUTH PARK and more recently TEAM AMERICA, creators, Matt Stone and Trey Parker, in which he makes reference to their needling of him in their work, as well as an extra helping of condescension and finally, a nice big F.U!! Aaaaaah, now c'mon kids...play nice. By the way, for anyone interested in seeing TEAM AMERICA earlier than its intended release date of the 15th of October, check out the movie theater finder below. The film sneaks in 800 theaters across the country tonight!


To Trey Parker and Matt Stone,

I remember a cordial hello when you guys were beginning to be famous guys around Hollywood at some party. I remember several times getting a few giggles out of your humor. I remember not being bothered as you traded on my name among others to appear witty, above it all, and likeable to your crowd. I never mind being of service, in satire and silliness.

I do mind when anybody who doesn't have a child, doesn't have a child at war, or isn't or won't be in harm's way themselves, is encouraging that there's "no shame in not voting" "if you don't know what you're talking about" (Mr. Stone) without mentioning the shame of not knowing what your talking about, and encouraging people to know. You guys are talented young guys but alas, primarily young guys. It's all well to joke about me or whomever you choose. Not so well, to encourage irresponsibility that will ultimately lead to the disembowelment, mutilation, exploitation, and death of innocent people throughout the world. The vote matters to them. No one's ignorance, including a couple of hip cross-dressers, is an excuse.

also das war ja mal der hinterletzte Trailer, den ich je gesehen habe. Im Publikum haben sich alle die kopfschüttelnd umgedreht a lá "wasn das fürn Scheiß da vorn auf der Leinwand"...

Kann mir nicht im entferntesten vorstellen, daß sich irgendwer diesen Quark anschauen wird.


Die Augsburger Puppenkiste war dagegen ja ganz nett, aber eben auf dem TV-Schirm.


Und außerdem a bissel out-of-date. Heutzutage kann man doch sowas nicht ins Kino bringen.

Got humor?
Das ist ja das tolle daran: obwohl es total "veraltete" Technik ist (Puppenspielen und co.), ist es supercool! Andere brauchen für einen schlechteren Film Schauspieler...
