My name is maaike, I'm from holland and i'm 15 years old. I feel really stupid doing this but i have to ask all of you a question

There is this letter I have to make for school, in german that is.. And we're getting a grade for it. I had to do this before and on a scale from 1 tot 10 i got a 3.5 which is very bad

Now my question is, is anybody willing to help me translating my letter from english to german for me? I hope I'm not being rude or anything

My name is Aldo de Gaudenz and I am from Italy, More as 50 years ago the father of my wife, Renato de Carli, was captured in dem von Deutschland besetzen Griechenland, where he worked as Zwangsarbeiter. Later he was brought to the Mölleken family in Dinslaken where he had to work as a Fremdarbeiter, but he was very sick and if it wasn’t for Dietrich Mölleken and his wife he wouldn’t have survived. We were never able to thank to Möllekens for their kindness. Marcella De Carli, Renato’s Wife, and my wife and I would really like to thank the family that saved Renato’s life so long ago now. We hope you can help us to find them. Ich danke Ihnen im voraus herzlich für Ihre Hilfe.

Mein Name ist Aldo de Gaudenz und ich komme aus Italien. Vor mehr als 50 Jahren wurde der Vater meiner Frau im von Deutschland besetzten Griechenland gefangen genommen, wo er als Zwangsarbeiter arbeitete. Später wurde er als Fremdarbeiter zur Familie Mölleken nach Dinslaken gebracht, jedoch war er sehr krank und ohne Dietrich Mölleken und seine Frau hätte er nicht überlebt (but he was very sick and if it wasn’t for Dietrich Mölleken and his wife he wouldn’t have survived.). Wir bekamen nie die Möglichkeit den Möllekens für ihre Freundlichkeit zu danken. Marcella De Carli, Renatos Frau, meine Frau und ich würde der Familie so gerne dafür danken, dass sie Renatos Leben vor so langer Zeit gerettet haben. Wir hoffen dass sie uns helfen können sie zu finden. Ich danke Ihnen im voraus herzlich für Ihre Hilfe.
